AI can detect what's on your screen through signal leaks from cables.

When data is transmitted between a computer and a monitor via an HDMI cable, a small portion of electromagnetic radiation leaks out. This radiation can make it possible for hackers to intercept the signals and decode them.


Federico Larroca and his team at the University of the Republic in Montevideo, Uruguay, have developed an AI model capable of capturing and reconstructing these leaked digital signals.


Experts believe that this technology may already be in the hands of some advanced hackers, who can potentially detect what's happening on your screen from several meters away.


They state that such attacks typically occur in high-security industrial or government settings. According to Larroca, these types of attacks are already taking place in sensitive industrial or governmental environments.


To protect against such threats, fully shielded setups should be used in high-security locations.

Weight loss and diabetes medications help reduce alcohol addiction.

A recent study has found that people taking medications like Ozempic and Wegovy for diabetes or weight loss are less likely to develop alcohol addiction. The study, conducted on around 700,000 individuals who had taken these drugs, suggests that they may also be beneficial for people dealing with various types of addiction.
